“Dori did the bride and bridal party makeup for my sister’s wedding this past weekend and also did my makeup for my bridal shower previously.  Simply put, I can’t say enough good things about Dori.  She is extremely reliable, professional, and unbelievably talented.  She is also very personable and friendly, and will immediately make you feel comfortable.My sister has extremely (and I do mean extremely) fair skin, and Dori went above and beyond to locate the perfect shade to match her skin tone, which was no easy feat. I will also mention that my sister had had a bad eyebrow wax the day before her wedding and the salon had accidentally removed a ton of skin from below her eyebrow, leaving about an inch and a half long and a quarter inch wide strip of raw, pink skin.  Dori covered the whole thing up —- literally, you could not tell that anything had happened.  I have absolutely no idea how she managed to accomplish this — it was amazing.  My sister looked and felt so absolutely stunning on her big day, as did the rest of the bridal party.I had gone with a very natural look for my bridal shower which turned out so beautifully.  I wanted to go more dramatic for my sister’s wedding and Dori did such an amazing job.  I went with the airbrush makeup, and she made my uneven skin tone look flawless, managed to cover up all of my skin imperfections (mild rosacea, some age spots, and some pimples), and gave me the most gorgeous, dramatic eyes.  I could not have been happier with this makeup!!  I received so many compliments all day, and the makeup stayed put all day and all night, even through a night of dancing.  My face looked the same both right after I got my makeup done at 11:00 am Saturday until I took it off at around 2:00 am Sunday morning.Also, while getting my makeup done I was chatting with Dori about all the different lines of makeup and new products.  It is very clear that she is on the cutting edge of what is new and upcoming in terms of skincare and makeup, and I was really impressed.  She clearly knows the trade very well.  Bottom line: two enthusiastic thumbs up for Dori Mae Makeup.  I will continue to recommend Dori to all of my friends and family.”

“Dori is an amazing bridal make-up artist. From the moment I spoke to her, to my trial in June, to my wedding on Saturday, she has been priceless. “Doris and I used to work in the same building – and I can tell you that THIS is what she is meant to do, not that other thing. When she first told me about her blossoming business and offered a trial run, I thought, what the heck. Well, she listened to me very carefully, and came armed with lots of suggestions and the right colors. She did a wonderful job on the trial and I was hooked. I hired her to do my makeup, my mother’s and my grandmother’s on the day of my big event. My best friend/matron of honor (and only attendant) is staunchly against having anyone else do her makeup.
